Liverpool were once again in stunning form against Southampton on Saturday in the Premier League – after half-time, at least.
Before the break, the Saints gave them a run for their money – the south-coast team actually managed 10 shots to their opponents’ eight in the first 45 minutes – but in the second period, the Reds put their opponents to the sword. It ended up 4-0, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah – twice – scoring the goals.

Roberto Firmino, despite not getting on the scoresheet, was at the top of his game at Anfield. He provided the assists for three of the strikes, managing four key passes during the whole of the match.
